Life at Serenefy: Building Skills & Making Memories
At serenefy, we believe that a true home is filled with shared experiences, laughter, and personal growth. Our dedicated Activitiy Co-ordinator works closely with out residents to design a dynamic weekly programme. Whether we are building essential life skills in the kitchen or heading out for a thrilling weekend trip, our goal is to help our young peoples' confidence, meaningful friendships, and independence.
The Three Pillars of Our Activities
Foundational Life Skills
Cooking, Baking, and Household Management
Independence starts in the heart of the home. We host regular, hands-on cooking and baking sessions in our modern kitchens. These evenings are about more than just nutrition and budgeting; they are a wonderful way for residents to bond, share their favourite cultural dishes, and gain the practical confidence they need for their future tenancies.
Community & Adventure Outings
Theme Parks, Go-Karting, and Local Trips
We actively encourage our young people to step outside their comfort zones and experience the wider community. From high-energy days out at Thorpe Park and competitive Go-Karting races to relaxed trips to the cinema or local bowling alley, these outings are vital for building social skills, managing new environments, and creating happy, lasting memories with peers.
Relaxed Evenings In
Movie Nights, Games, and Wellbeing
Just like any family home, we value the importance of downtime. Our shared lounges regularly host relaxed movie nights, a console to play video games together, and quiet evenings where residents can simply unwind. We ensure our homes are peaceful, safe sanctuaries where young people can feel at ease.
